Company Management

The founder of the company and Managing Director, Dr. Josef Rackl, studied Physics at the University of Regensburg. His major fields of study were “Theoretical Physics” and “Operations Research”.

Within the framework of his degree thesis, Dr. Rackl examined the applicability of physical algorithms to transport logistics. In his subsequent doctoral studies, the algorithmic fundamentals for the solution of combinatorial optimisation problems in logistics were developed further. In 1996, the company was founded in order to develop and market a product which – based on theoretical fundamentals - satisfies all practical requirements. Since that time, Dr. Rackl has been working as the Managing Director.  

For his dissertation on the topic of “Examinations of combinatorial optimisation problems with methods of static physics”, Dr. Rackl was awarded a doctoral degree in June of 2000.
