Interfaces

As an integrated system, optimally functioning interfaces play a vital role in working with OPTITOOL on a daily basis. We offer a few standard interfaces for our products, such as a certified SAP interface. The standard interfaces necessary for our customers depend largely on their respective branch.

In this regard, we generally rely on future-oriented technologies such as XML. Because a few suppliers do not yet support XML, we are also capable of supplying older interfaces and, for instance, can also process csv files. If required, we can adapt our existing interfaces or generate completely new ones based on customer-specific requirements.

For a broad spectrum of branches, a wide variety of interfaces is both necessary and desirable. A connection to inventory management or a milk price calculation program is almost always included.

In the realm of operational planning, it is also becoming increasingly common to link in motor vehicles via installed on-board units, to be able to provide data for the comparison of target and actual values, or simply to be able to display current vehicle data in OPTITOOL. This is a highlight especially in combination with our Google Earth link.  We place special emphasis on flexibility, so simply ask us for an interface that suits your needs and we will be happy to advise you.
