OPTITOOL Enterprise Edition is a multi-user compatible system utilized primarily in the field of operational and dynamic planning, e.g. in the energy industry (oil industry, pellet transport, lubricants industry, liquefied petroleum gas transport) or in the food industry (beverage industry, fresh food transport). The software supports both the free planning of orders and daily planning based on existing strategic master trips.

OPTITOOL EE was developed as a multi-user system and is integrated into the IT structure of our customers. The software communicates with the inventory management system via modern XML interfaces, thus enabling an automated data exchange. Being a flexible company, we offer interfaces to all sorts of inventory management systems and configure them in accordance with customer-specific requirements where needed. The modules of the system may be distributed to various servers, thus providing excellent performance even in the case of comprehensive application. The system has a modular structure and may be used for both small enterprises with vehicle fleets of 5 vehicles or more, and for medium-sized and large companies operating across country borders, which have to plan their logistics accordingly.

Via the combination of digital maps and the trip commander, in which the planning is displayed in a tree view, OPTITOOL offers a clearly arranged user interface, which can be learned easily. Planning parameters are checked at any time in the current planning process and violations are displayed. This facilitates the dispatcher’s work and at the same time improves the quality of the planning. Via a central rights administration, several dispatchers with different responsibilities can work simultaneously on a single system and therefore on a single data base.
