OTWE – OPTITOOL Web Edition (operational & dynamic planning)

Our OPTITOOL Web Edition is situated in the field of operational and dynamic planning and based on the fundamentals of OPTITOOL Enterprise Edition. In comparison with others, OTWE is suitable for more instable IT structures, since it is used in a platform-independent manner as a web application. In order to make use of the full range of functions and to administrate the rights of the various users in the software, however, the additional application of OTEE is necessary. This system configuration is particularly suited for groups of companies that want to perform decentralized dispatching in the branches located in those countries with a poor IT connection. The software administration will then be managed centrally via OTEE, the local dispatch and planning of the vehicle fleet, however, may be performed via the OTWE.

A great advantage of OPTITOOL Web Edition is the fact that it may be used without any problems on various clients without requiring complex installations and configurations. Due to the very low requirements of the software on hardware and network environment, it may be employed almost anywhere without any further acquisitions or expansions in the IT structure of the company location.

The OPTITOOL Web Edition features a clear and structured design and an intuitive user interface. Like our OTDE and OTEE, it is subdivided into two areas, the digital map and the trip commander with the tree view. The user may work simultaneously with both areas at any time and draw up a well-thought plan with the simplest means. Drag & Drop facilitates the work, while an information display constantly provides information on the most important planning details, such as usage rate of the vehicles or duration of the planned trip.
