About us
The history of the company OPTITOOL GmbH began in 1994 with the development of the program, which has its origins in the field of study of “Operations Research” of the Faculty of Theoretical Physics of the University of Regensburg.
Since 1996, the specifically designed algorithms have been further developed and constantly improved. OPTITOOL GmbH disposes of the required know-how of complex optimisation algorithms and develops them on an ongoing basis. This means that industry-specific business rules may be depicted in a way that enables significant savings in time and costs to be achieved in practice. At present, OPTITOOL is the German market leader in the oil and dairy industries.
The team of OPTITOOL GmbH consists of specialised academics and IT experts working in the areas of development, distribution, support, and project management.
Location
The “IT-Speicher” is a technology and founders’ centre for IT enterprises. We would be pleased to welcome you at our registered office, which is located in the centre of the Regensburg IT industry and at the same time not far from Regensburg’s Old Town.
